Aerial Installations
There
are many kinds or aerial, ranging from a 10 element contract right up
to a 108 element high gain aerial. Then there is the question of analogue
or digital, that's were we come in. Take a few moments to read through
the selection of aerials below to determine which one you think is correct
for your premises.
A 10 Element Contract Aerial is perfectly acceptable as a budget aerial
to bring in analogue signals in a good reception area.
A
High Gain Aerial, which is usually larger than a contact aerial is designed
to better specifications to deliver good quality signals even in poorer
reception areas.
Digital Aerials, which are also made to a good specification including
a balam, produce a good digital reception. These can be used in conjunction
with a Freeview set top box or integrated digital television to gain access
of the free to view channels.
FM Aerials deliver the stereo sound via your tuner of your chosen radio
station.
DAB Digital Audio Broadcast antennaes produce digital quality sound via
your digital tuner.
With so many types and grades of aerial the importance of the correct
one installed properly is of paramount importance. Remember that no matter
how much you spend on first rate reception equipment this will only be
as good as the signal which it is receiving. If the quality of reception
is sub standard then your enjoyment of top quality audio equipment will
be marred.
We would always recommend consulting a fully trained aerial technician
whose company is backed by a first rate guarantee to advise on and install
your aerial. Always use qualified members of the Confederation of Aerial
Industries.
